GEOMETRY is a common core content. Common core content means it touches K-12 students.

The State expected the 4th grade student to have early exposure to geometry concept like congruent. Geometry teaches student how to reason and justify their solution. It teaches student the concept of attributes of geometrical shapes. For example the attribute congruent, it means the shape are congruent if they have the same shape and are the same size. Remembering the definition of congruent, the student should be able to answer the question, which pair of figures appears to be congruent?

Why is learning the concept of congruent important? Machine learning use in computer vision uses mathematical rule , also called algorithm to identify or classify object. One of the possible supervised machine learning rule is if the shape are congruent then classify it or identify it as object 1 (labeled name for the object).
