The State expected the 4th grade student to have early exposure to statistical data analysis concept of median. Median in statistical data analysis is usually a good starting point to make comparison. It is more or less at the center or middle or average. In statistical analysis word, when you say the word median, it means it follows a specific rules of analyzing the data. The first rule to follow is arrange your data set from lowest to highest.
