The State expected High School student to learn how to compute the surface area of 3-dimensional shape. The students are expected to learn how to use area of triangle, area of rectangle, and Pythagorean theorem in order to solve surface area problem.

Measurement knowledge are very useful in everyday life and student must acquire this basic knowledge in order to become an informed citizen and consumer.
