The State expected 5th grade student to master the concept of negative integer can represent real world like below the original position. The student must master the concept that original position can be represented as zero (0) then anything above zero will represent the positive integers and anything below zero will represent the negative integers.
Numbers and operation are very important mathematical concept to acquire. More high paying jobs requires training and experience in numbers and operation, data collection, data interpretation, data preparation, data extraction, data cleaning and so on. High paying job such as data scientist, data engineer, data analyst are high demand.
