The State expected the 5th grade student to have early exposure to algebra. Algebra skill is one of the most important skill every student must acquire, Why? Because algebra connect or equate quantitative relationship of physical object. Algebraic equation is a short statement describing the pattern, association, relationship and general equation or theory.
Algebra skill is needed in coding like in expert system supervised machine learning algorithm using software like MATLAB, Python, R, Javascript, C, and C++. This skill is most likely to be used in Excel spreadsheet or similar spreadsheet software.
